About the conference

A conference to encourage those who minister in small places.

Cool is a very small place, about 2,500 people in the Sierra foothills. Most churches in America look a lot more like ours than like the ones you hear about at the big conferences.

It would seem disingenuous to host a conference on small places and then bring in a big name to wow everyone. So we ask pastors and ministry wives who serve in small places to open God’s Word and encourage one another.

One day, on a Wednesday

Many pastors set Saturday aside for family. We won’t ask you to give it up.

A men’s track and a women’s track

Two plenary sessions for everyone, and three breakout seminars in each track.

Small places everywhere

Rural towns, mountain churches, and small congregations in big cities are all welcome.

What Paul’s Prayers Taught a Grieving Pastor

Paul prayed less about changing situations and more about strengthening the saints for them.

Would You Marry a Stranger?

The apostolic model for raising up pastors has never required a seminary. It requires a shepherd.
